Listening sits at the center of my therapeutic work, and it carries directly into how I photograph and make films — the same attention, the same patience for what a body is saying before it speaks. My way of listening becomes a way of seeing: an art that transmutes into the frame, into the moment I choose to capture.
I often find myself in the context of contact improvisation and in spaces where humanness itself is at the center of research — photographing and film making with bodies in relation, in motion, and in the quiet between.
