Therapy & Somatic Work

A practice rooted in the language of the body.

Amanda’s work grows from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and years of immersion in somatic practice, movement, meditation and relational work. Rather than keeping these separate, she weaves them into one approach, where thought, sensation and breath are read together. The invitation is simple: to meet yourself with more consciousness, honesty and compassion.

Rather than fixing or suppressing difficult experiences, the work supports psychological flexibility, bodily understanding and the capacity to meet oneself with presence — through Somatic Meditation, an embodied approach combining trauma-informed foundations, nervous system regulation, movement and self-inquiry, gently listening toward the layers beneath the surface.

01

1:1 Therapy

Individual sessions weaving ACT, somatic awareness and embodied presence, a space to develop a more conscious and compassionate relationship with your emotions, body and inner narratives.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy belongs to the third wave of CBT. Rather than working to change or argue with thoughts, it works with the relationship to them, building psychological flexibility: the capacity to make room for what is difficult, to notice thoughts as thoughts, to come back to the present moment, and to act from what genuinely matters to you. Mindfulness is an essential part of the practice, the ground from which all of this becomes possible.

In Amanda’s approach, this cognitive and values-based work is woven together with somatic therapy and an understanding of the psychosomatic: how emotion, memory and inner narrative live in tissue, breath and nervous system. Sessions move between talking and listening inward, so insight is not only understood but felt.

Groups & Women’s Circles

Held spaces for curiosity, shared inquiry and somatic practice; movement, meditation and relational work in togetherness.

Somatic women’s circles gather around what is often carried alone. Somatic Meditation, a practice Amanda created, forms the ground: an embodied approach to meeting oneself through sensation rather than analysis.

Sessions include embodiment practice, breathwork, sub-personality exploration and inquiry, moving between individual listening and the field of the group.
